Your mission
Join our dynamic team in revolutionizing the FinTech landscape! We are seeking a passionate Software Test-Automation Engineer to ensure top-tier quality in our payment software through proactive defect identification and risk mitigation.
In this role, you will drive the implementation of automated testing frameworks to enhance software quality and minimize risks in payment processing. By conducting thorough testing and analysis, you will help us deliver reliable and efficient FinTech solutions. Working within an agile development environment, you will proactively identify and resolve defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

What you will do
- Extend our test framework by adding new plugins and test steps.
- Design, implement, and execute test cases based on business requirements.
- Analyze user requirements for completeness & testability from a functional and quality perspective.
- Coordinate QA activities within the team and collaborate closely with product owners and developers.
- Create test reports.
- Document test-cases in test-management tool.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar Software Testing role or Software Development role with a focus on testing, preferably within the payments or banking sector.
- Strong understanding of testing principles and frameworks (e.g., ISTQB certified tester).
- Proficient in Test-Automation practices with experience in tools like Selenium.
- Experienced with test-management tools (e.g. TestRail).
- Basic knowledge of JAVA or Groovy.
- Independent working style, with a clear view on solutions and results.
- Proficient English skills, with the ability to explain to explain, teach and discuss technical issue (both written and spoken).

- Competitive Compensation: Of course, you will receive a competitive compensation package, which we would be happy to discuss with you personally. For legal reasons, we must provide the gross annual salary, which is approximately EUR 42.000,- (38.5 hours per week) according to our collective agreement. We are ready and willing to offer more than the starting figure, depending on your experience and qualifications.
