Senior JAVA Software Engineer (f/m/d)

What You Will Do
- Backend: Verantwortung für die Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung des Backends für das User-Portal unserer SaaS-Payment-Plattform – mit Fokus auf Performance, Skalierbarkeit und Zuverlässigkeit.
- Web Applikationen: Entwicklung und Pflege von Webanwendungen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit einem cross-funktionalen Team aus Frontend-Entwickler, Tester und Produktmanager.
- Code Reviews: Durchführung von Code Reviews zur Sicherstellung von Codequalität und Einhaltung von Best Practices sowie Unterstützung des Teams durch technische Guidance.
- Technical Lead: Fachliche Führung und Mentoring eines wachsenden Backend-Teams, inklusive Nearshore-Entwickler:innen, mit Fokus auf klare Zusammenarbeit und die Einhaltung definierter Guidelines.
- Learning and Development: Halte dich über aktuelle Trends und Technologien in der Branche auf dem Laufenden und integriere diese proaktiv in den Entwicklungsprozess, um das Produkt kontinuierlich zu verbessern.
- Zusammenarbeit: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Teams in Wien und Köln, regelmäßigen Besuch des Wiener Büros, vor allem in der Einarbeitungszeit.
Your Profile
- Berufserfahrung: Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Backend-Entwicklung, idealerweise in der FinTech-, Payment- oder Bankbranche.
- Hands-On Mentalität: Proaktive, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise mit Hands-on-Mentalität.
- Teamorientierung: Teamplayer mit einer kooperativen, offenen Arbeitsweise, hohen Qualitätsansprüchen und echter Serviceorientierung.
- Sprachkenntnisse: Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse auf C1-Niveau (muttersprachliches oder nahezu muttersprachliches Niveau). Weitere europäische Sprachen sind von Vorteil.
- Valid work permit for Slovakia and ability to work in the office in Bratislava at least 2 days a week
