As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will develop software solutions that drive innovation and reliability in our payment processing systems. Your expertise in software development will ensure efficient, compliant, and top-tier FinTech solutions while working in an agile environment.

What you will do
- Lead the development and enhancement of the frontend for our SaaS payment platform's user portal
- Build and maintain web applications in collaboration with a cross-functional team
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards and guide team members in best practices and coding guidelines
- Create and refine mockups, UX designs, and prototypes to enhance user experience
- Mentor and lead a growing team of frontend engineers, ensuring cohesive and efficient collaboration according to defined guidelines
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and proactively integrate them into the development process
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience in frontend development, ideally in FinTech, payment or banking sector
- Strong skills with core web technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript and experience, with experience in JavaScript/CSS frameworks, especially Vue.js.
- Strong affinity for user experience and user interface design
- Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes and ideally Helm
- English proficiency at a C1 level - other European languages are a plus
- Valid work permit for Austria and ability to work in the office at least 2 days per week
Benificial
- Experience with Bootstrap, SASS and Quasar are a plus
- Experience with UI tests and automated testing using frameworks like Selenium or Cypress
- Proficiency in using state machines (e.g., XState, Vue.js Pinia)
- Experience with OpenAPI and generation of interfaces

- Competitive Compensation: Of course, you will receive a competitive compensation package, which we would be happy to discuss with you personally. For legal reasons, we must provide the gross annual salary, which is based on the collective agreement and is approximately EUR 54.000, - (based on full-time 38.5 hours per week). We are willing to offer more than this starting salary, depending on your experience and qualifications.
