IT Operations Engineer (f/m/d)
for FinTech
Your Mission
As an IT Operations Engineer in our multinational team, you will ensure the smooth and secure operation of our transaction platforms. You will play a central role in proactively monitoring, analyzing incidents and working with our technical teams to continuously improve the reliability and performance of our platform.
With your solid organizational skills, you approach tasks independently and with a solution-focused mindset. What You Will Do
- Proactively monitor platform performance and create monitoring checks to maintain operational integrity
- Analyze, resolve and document incidents, including root cause analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with 3rd-level support and technical teams to document and resolve issues
- Process service and change requests to improve monitoring and reporting capabilities
- Regularly coordinate with project teams to keep them informed about project deliverables and platform status
- Ensure 24/7 operations with on-call support in collaboration with the operations team
Your Profile
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar IT Operations role or equivalent experience, preferably within the payments or banking sector
- Initial experience in IT management and monitoring based on ITIL practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions
- Cooperative, team-oriented way of working with openness for new things, high quality standards and a true service orientation
- Fluency in German and English is required
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of development processes is essential
- ITIL knowledge (ITIL Foundation certification preferred)
- Familiarity with SCRUM methodologies
- Experience with tools such as iTop, Bamboo, Kibana and Grafana
- Knowledge of SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and Asana

- Competitive Compensation: Of course, you will receive a competitive compensation package, which we would be happy to discuss with you personally. For legal reasons, we must provide the gross annual salary, which is based on the collective agreement and is approximately EUR 41.000, - (based on full-time 38.5 hours per week). We are willing to offer more than this starting salary, depending on your experience and qualifications.
