Business Analyst (w/m/d)
What You Will Do
- Requirements Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and documenting the requirements of stakeholders from the respective departments to develop a clear understanding of business needs.
- Process Analysis: Analyzing existing business processes to identify potential improvements and developing proposals for more efficient workflows.
- Solution Development: Contributing to the development of solutions that meet the stakeholders' requirements, including technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Vendor Analysis: Participating in the analysis of potential vendors/service providers during the vendor selection process.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including requirement documents, process diagrams, and use cases.
- Data Analysis: Utilizing data analytics to monitor transaction performance, identify trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement of the payment platform.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicating with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Your Profile
- Education: Successfully completed vocational training or university degree, ideally with a focus on business analytics and/or computer science.
- Expertise: 3 to 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the fintech or payments area, within companies with a strong IT focus and high-scaling transactional business models.
- Detail-Oriented: Capable of maintaining a high-level perspective while also diving into the details when necessary, especially regarding user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Teamwork: Proven capability to work efficiently with various stakeholders, facilitating smooth and productive interactions.
- Personal Traits: High intrinsic motivation and assertiveness.
- Prioritization: Skilled at prioritizing tasks based on business value, customer needs, and team capacity.
- Technical Understanding: A solid understanding of the technology stack and development processes, enabling effective communication with the team and informed decision-making.
- Language Skills: English proficiency at a C1 level (native or near-native fluency). Other European languages are a plus
- Valid work permit and availability to work in our office at least 2 days a week
